98 Foot St. Patrick's Day Parade Attracts 30,000 people

The First Ever Tenth Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held in Hot Springs, AR, on Sunday, March 17.  While the name is nearly longer than the 98-foot parade route, this Hot Springs tradition is one you don't want to miss!  Held on Bridge Street, which is the "World's Shortest Street in Everyday Use", this little parade attracts 30,000 people each year.

The 2013 version will welcome back two fan-favorite grand marshals:  Bo Derek and John Corbett.  Corbett and his band will also perform a free concert at the end of the parade.  Other notable entrants this year will be the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, Irish Elvis impersonators and the Taco Mama bull.  The festivities begin at 4:30 pm with the Blarney Stone Kissing Contest.  After everyone has "puckered up", the official measuring of the parade route will commence at 6:25pm, and the parade begins at 6:30pm.  Be sure to arrive early to get the best viewing position!
