Cookies for the New Year
Now that you've made all those cookies for Santa, isn't it time to try something different for the new year? I have found a new cookie recipe that meets all my requirements: 1. it must be easy to make 2. it can't be overly sweet 3. it must be really good! And so I present to you RICOTTA COOKIES!
¼ lb butter
- softened
¼ cup
ricotta
1 tsp
vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups
sifted flour
½ tsp baking
soda
½ tsp salt
Blend
softened butter with ricotta until creamy.
Add vanilla. Mix well. Add sugar gradually, beating until well blended. Add egg and mix well. Slowly stir in dry ingredients and blend
well. Drop from a teaspoon on greased
baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for
10-12 minutes.
Move over brownies....ricotta cookies may start sharing your duty of welcoming Tiffany's Bed and Breakfast guests at check in!
