Hot Springs DOES Have a Nightlife – Part 4

And now for Part 4 of our 5-part series on what to do when the sun goes down in Hot Springs, Arkansas!  The Five Star Theatre in downtown Hot Springs offers dinner and a show most weekends.  If you were ever treated to the former “Wilkins Family Music and Comedy Show”, you will be most familiar with this venue and some of the performers.  Recent dinner theater shows have been “Greater Tuna” and “Driving Miss Daisy”.  Upcoming shows include Comedian Joby Saad Nov. 2,3,16,17, and Ventriloquist Comedian Marc Rubben Nov. 9, 10, 24.  Tickets for dinner and show are $41.08 for adults, and show tickets only are $30.25.

If you’re still not ready to turn in after the show, check out some of Hot Springs’ night clubs.  The most famous (and the oldest bar in Arkansas) is The Ohio Club.  Al Capone and friends used to  frequent this bar built as a casino in 1905.  These days you can find live music 6 days a week and enjoy what’s been reported as “the best burgers in town”.   Other downtown highlights are Maxine’s at 700 Central Ave. and Copper Penny at 719 Central.  A local favorite is The Big Chill, located at 910 Higdon Ferry Rd.

As you can see, there are plenty of options for enjoying the nightlife of Hot Springs….that is, IF you can tear yourselves away from our oh-so-comfy beds at Tiffany’s Bed and Breakfast!
